- Every day and on time is the goal!  Did you know that students who miss school in kindergarten and 1st grade mave have trouble reading by the end of third grade. Whether the absences are consecutive or not, excused or not, they add up quickly and can cause your child to fall behind their peers in school. You can learn more about the impact of attendance in elementary grades with the infographic* below by attendanceworks.org.

WEDNESDAY, September 6th: Rock and Roll Day- “Thanks for rolling in on time today and every day!”

THURSDAY, September 7th: Hippy Day- “Be hip! Stay all day, every day!”

FRIDAY, September 8th: Super Hero Day- “Here Everyday Ready On Time!”

Please speak to your child about the importance of attendance not just in September but throughout the entire school year. We hope to have a lot of participation in spirit week. More details of the great activities and incentives for the rest of the month will be shared with students and families soon.
